I wrote my first piece for all voices. I took some of my favourite Christmas words from the famous poem “In the Bleak Midwinter”, by Christina Rossetti. The last stanza goes like this:
What can I give him, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb,
If I were a wiseman, I would do my part,
But what I can I give him,
Give him my heart.
thanks to Avery Gietz for her important counsel on this composition. Please ask for the score if you are interested.
